Type: Extension to existing 1930’s brick dwelling
Date completed: 2005
Client: 2 adults/ 2 children [boy aged 6 & girl aged 4]
The existing dwelling was maintained, converted to the private zone of the dwelling, containing bedrooms, a bathroom and a kids TV room. An entry corridor separates the existing brick dwelling from a rammed earth extension to the north/ rear.

Simultaneously solid yet open; respectful yet contemporary; warm yet utilitarian
